If for any reason you decide not to keep your online purchase, MICHAEL M will accept online merchandise in its original condition for a full refund when accompanied with original packaging - tags, boxes, bags - with no signs of wear or scratches. Refunds will be issued in the same form as was utilized for payment. All items with custom engraving are final sale.


The return window for online purchases is 30 days from the date of delivery. Please email your Return Request with your Order Confirmation and item you’d like to return to our Customer Excellence Team - customer@michaelm.com


All items purchased on our website must be returned by following our online Return Policy and cannot be returned to an Authorized Retail Partner or any other channel. After (30) calendar days from receipt, all sales are considered final.

You will receive an email within (1-2) business days after submitting your Return Request from our Customer Excellence team, which will include (1) a Return Authorization (RA) Number, (2) a FedEx Return Shipping Label, and (3) Instructions about what must be included with your return shipment.


Please note that all packages received MUST have your unique Return Authorization (RA) Number clearly listed on the outside of the package. If it is NOT visible, the package will be refused and returned to the sender, and your return will not be accepted. If you do not have a Return Authorization Number, please email us at customer@michaelm.com


  1.  Print the prepaid shipping label and attach it to the package. 
  2. Call FedEx at +1.800.463.3339 to schedule a home pickup or bring your return package at the nearest FedEx drop location. All returns shipped using the prepaid shipping label are complimentary.
  3. Once we receive your returned item, it will be evaluated to ensure that the item is in original condition. If there are any visible signs of wear and tear, or if the jewelry is otherwise not in original condition, the item(s) will be returned to sender, and no return credit will be offered. Returns will be processed within approximately 7-10 business days and credited back to the original form of payment. Please note any shipping charges incurred at the time of purchase are non-refundable.

If you’re considering an exchange of your online purchase for a different item, size, or variation, please note exchanges are only eligible within 30 days from the date of delivery.


Kindly note that your purchase will only be accepted for exchange by MICHAEL M if it is in original unused condition with original packaging and absolutely no signs of wear.

How long does a MICHAEL M order take to ship?  

Online orders will ship within 7 business days. Custom orders will ship within 2-3 weeks.

Are MICHAEL M products insured when shipped? 

All items shipped are FULLY INSURED during transit; therefore, all shipments will require a signature at the time of delivery. No exceptions can be made. Please note that additional charges may accrue if additional delivery attempts are made. Please contact the MICHAEL M Care Team customer@michaelm.com if your order details indicate the package has been delivered but nothing was received.

How can I find out if an item sold online is available at my local store? 

When viewing a product on online, you can click “Store Locator” and input your location to search for your closest MICHAEL M retail partner. If the store does not carry the item, the store can request MICHAEL M send the item if it is in stock. Please note that the availability of products is subject to change. 

Does my engagement ring come with a Lifetime Warranty? 

The MICHAEL M Commitment to Service is a Lifetime Warranty that ensures the proper care & repair of your MICHAEL M jewelry. Maintenance and repairs of imperfections from the manufacturer will be done free of charge, but must be done by an authorized MICHAEL M retailer. If these conditions are not met, the MICHAEL M lifetime warranty will be void.

Can I upgrade my MICHAEL M jewelry? 

Yes, as part of our commitment to the quality of our diamonds, MICHAEL M allows you to upgrade your original MICHAEL M item at any time. Upon review, you will receive a credit up to 75% of the original purchase price, which can be used toward the purchase of a new MICHAEL M item (1:1 trade only). Please note, the retail price of the new item must be of greater or equal value than the original purchase price. Damaged or blemished engagement rings will not receive full credit.
